“Mum, God won’t play by my rules!
Can I send Him home.
I really like my rules.
I don’t want to change them.
Mum, tell God to play by my rules!”

When God “refuses” to do what we “expect’ of Him,
do we place our disappointments at His feet
challenging our interpretations,
or do we wave our bibles in his face demanding:
“It is written”.

In our journey as christians, often times we still allow our old lives to reign. We read books about faith, because we want to find "the secrets to twist God's arms", "the secret to get our prayers answered".

challenging our interpretations,

I like that. God continues to surprise me by breaking out of the box I make and remake for Him. From comfortable leagalism to the wild, wide eyed journey of grace. What a life.
