It's there you cry forgiveness

It’s there you cry forgiveness

In the desert sand,

In the wilderness,

When I am scared,

And so alone,

With nothing left to offer

And nothing left to pray

In the darkest night when I am scarred

And wounded by this life.

In the midnight hour,

The valley deep and dark

My soul cries out

For love’s release,

It’s there you cry forgive me

For all I’ve said and done

In the darkest hour when I am scarred

And wounded by this life.

It’s there you cry forgiveness

And your mercy covers me

It’s there I find your hope and your strength

It’s there you set me free.

It’s there you cry forgiveness

It’s there I find your grace

It’s there I find acceptance and love

It’s there I find your peace

It’s there I see your face

In the stormy seas

Breaking over me

So overwhelmed

And overcome

I'm stricken by my weakness

My strength deserting me

In the darkest hour when I am scarred

And wounded by this life

It’s there you cry forgiveness

And your mercy covers me

It’s there I find your hope and your strength

It’s there you set me free.

It’s there you cry forgiveness

It’s there I find your grace

It’s there I find acceptance and love

It’s there I find your peace

It’s there I see your face

This is a neat poem!
I'm actually kind of surprised to have found you - mostly by accident. I just searched for Hillsongs on Soundclick, and recognized your name. I'd love to converse with you sometime or through email. I first heard about you from an album in the early 90s called "Rock the Flock, Khool Praise 2." I'm glad to see and hear you're still producing! I like your music.
