peace
the day of days
hope
a child, who came
to shine light into our night
to wipe our tears and heal our fears
now we are found
now we are safe
and our souls can rest
in heaven's face

peace i speak to you
sweet gentle peace has come for you
and the hope of the unknown
shall burst her banks on you.

held in words of love
let this peace now soothe your soul.
dance upon the clouds
soar above the sky

Wow Geoff - wonderful.

Now could you please change the colour from yellow - my old eyes can't see it (had to highlight it to get the contrast and read it)

Have a great Christmas time Geoff - blessings and peace on you and your family also

dear geoff,

finally traced you on the internet!! have liked your choice of praise songs, but heard that you'd changed to EMI label (going after money) and left the praise arena. couldn't get any of your cds in shops, other than the last cd i had ('you rescued me') - still keep it by my bedside till now!! pray you can still write some good songs like before.

blessings,

Thanks for your comment Emily. No, I never went across to EMI.... simply writing songs and doing concerts. There is a new album on iTunes if you would like to have a listen. Blessings.

Hi Geoff,

It is so great that our God is still so using you. My life was so touched in Hills during the early nineties as you led worship.

His Grace is sufficent. Yes we are the villians and Jesus is the only good guy. Many times i stood in worship at Hills in abandoned worship irregardless of my personal struggles. I was set free.

Geoff i truly want to encourage you. Our God is with you and and i am praying for you that you will see the true outpouring of a Holy Spirit awakening in this land.

I remember you preached on short notice at church in 1989 on Ephesians 1 verse three. For over twenty years that message has stayed with me. Once i stood in church so crying out to God. Guilty i stood of the ravishes of my own addictions. You took communion and declared the no condemnation in Christ.

Geoff thanks for walking the walk with Christ. You have been a blessing to me.

Ephesians 1 verse three to you and your family.

Ken Monaghan.

Hi Ken,

Thank you so much for your encouragement. I so appreciate your kind words.

Ever more so I am aware of "the walk of grace". All that I am in the sight of God boils down to that one word: grace. In grace God cries out to us to see his love and mercy that brings us hope and peace, a hope and peace that transcends our fears, faults and failures.
