"Peace".
Is peace simply an absence of conflict,
a life free of fear.
No, it is deeper than that
as there can be a peace
in the midst of the storms of life.
Somehow there is a peace that can calm the troubled soul
and it has calmed mine.

Lovely Geoff. Peace in the midst of the storm.
That is God's wonderful plan for our lives (how many times have I heard that) isn't it. That we would see Jesus walking on the water in the midst of our storms. No success. No shore in sight. Just that we would see him. And know his peace.
I liked it too - just love your turn of phrase in getting ideas together. Do you sweat drops of blood over getting the words in the right order, or does it just flow out of you, and comes together as they do?
