Gentle, gentle night,
Soft soothing sounds
Of water and wind
And gentle quiet.
The hum of life,
A melody,
Tuneful
And full,
In and out,
Like a breath,
A continual rhythm,
Sometimes noticed,
Sometimes,
Simply,
There.
