thank you
for the gift of life
for breath
and the beating of our hearts.
thank you
for the highs and lows,
the joys and the sadnesses.
thank you
for the beauty that surrounds us,
and our ability to appreciate it all.
I am amazed by life,
the journey that is within
and without
it's freedoms
and the debts we carry.
I must be sure to remember these things
and be thankful.

Geoff ...
Thank you. This past couple of weeks I have been musing on life. That it is exciting, scarey, wonderful, horrific, funny, tragic ... in short messy! It is all of these things and we can't just take the good bits and leave the rest. It doesn't work like that. My 13 month old niece has just been diagnosed with leukemia and it has caused me to reflect back on lessons I learnt when my father died young of cancer. One of the big things I have been reflecting on is the Isaiah scripture where God promised to give us treasures out of darkness. Not as scripture we like to hear but oh, so filled with hope. Further thoughts below.

Thanks Geoff for your honesty and being REAL.
Blessings on you.
Love your flowers photos Geoff. If you need some inspiration - you should see the Floriade in Canberra - acres of flowers on show.
