Sunset

Sunset...
The end of day.
The words said,
The faces seen,
The beautiful,
The glorious,
The Inspirational,
And the not so.
All things,
They pass away with this
diminishing glory.
The colours of light's retreat,
The promise of a new dawn,
The sunrise.
Light's return,
Life beckons us
To tomorrow,
And another sunset.
