Gracing

Just one word can be the spark
A ray of light
carrying hope
Into another's darkness.
Just one heartfelt word,
Without an expectation of reply
can bring love
And compassion
To a lonely heart.
If we allow our lives to connect
To seize the opportunity
To reach out
Then perhaps our lives
Can be an ongoing act
Of giving...
Loving
And gracing.
