Tuesdays thoughts

The journey to understanding grace
begins with the failure of religious piety.
I can speak of my love for God until the heavens fall
and the skies fold,

but knowing God's love
sustains me through the darkest wilderness.
How can I lift my hands and sing
whilst caught in the knowledge that Christ
is kneeling before me washing my feet.
When the music stops the worship begins

Tuesday's prayer

Help me silence my anxious thoughts
to hear again the gentle whisper of Your love
and may the Light of hope be shielded
from the storms of my own making.
Help me to see the face of God
in all who cross my path today,
and may grace be my answer,
and mercy my guide.

"When the music stops, the worship begins".. so much more is said in silence, in praise made as a sacrifice.
Beautiful thoughts, Geoff.

Thank you so much for 'stopping by' Gracie. Sometimes I think we are making far too much noise to hear His gentle voice of love.
